Missouri Driver’s License Point System
The state of Missouri maintains a point system for anyone with a valid driver’s license. Under this system, points are placed against your driver’s license if you are convicted of certain motor vehicle violations. When you are convicted of a traffic violation, while your vehicle was in motion, the department receives notice and adds points to your driving record. You can lose your driving privileges when you accumulate too many points. The number of points you receive depends on the conviction.
